Himanshu Patel, After graduating from pharmacy school, started his career with Rite Aid in Michigan and moved to Raleigh in 2014. He has been working in North Raleigh for the last seven years with Rite Aid/ Walgreens.
Frustrated by the corporate world’s focus on revenue over the patient, he sought out a better way to help patients in the community and opened up his independent pharmacy. With over 17 years of pharmacy experience, he is well qualified to assist in your health management. He is passionate about his involvement in the community and is committed to prescription safety. Himanshu love’s independent pharmacy which provides him with the opportunity to spend time with customers and meet their individual needs.
Himanshu wanted to create an environment that allowed him and the staff to get to know customers as people, not numbers. In a world of big box chains and fast-paced everything, the independent pharmacy environment offers high tech AND high touch service in a part of life no one should ever shortchange – your personal well-being. He enjoys spending time with his family and friends, playing and watching sports, and cheering on the Tarheels!!
